Public Works Director / City Engineer <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Old Highway 10 Trail Improvements – Professional Services Agreement <br />Amendment No. 3 <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $600,000 (2025-2029 CIP) $732,738 PIR Fund <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br /> <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br /> <br />• Professional Services Agreement Amendment No. 3 with SRF Consulting in the <br />amount of $484,445 for the Old Highway 10 Trail Project. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br /> <br />On June 12, 2023, City Council approved the Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with SRF <br />to complete “Shovel-Ready” Design of the Old Highway 10 Trail Project. On November 27, <br />2023, City Council approved SRF to move forward with grant applications as PSA Amendment <br />No. 1 to submit applications to the Metropolitan Council Regional Solicitation Safe Routes to <br />School Grant Program and the MnDOT Safe Routes to School Grant Program. <br /> <br />On June 24, 2024, the City Council provided direction to continue to pursue the MnDOT Safe <br />Routes to School (SRTS) Grant. <br /> <br />On August 28, 2024, the City of Arden Hills was awarded the Metropolitan Council Regional <br />Solicitation SRTS Grant in the amount of $1,000,000. <br /> <br />On October 28, 2024, the City Council approved PSA Amendment No. 2 to provide professional <br />services to assist with the completion of tasks associated with the 2024/2025 application <br />preparation for the MnDOT SRTS Grant Program. <br />
