<br />Arden Hills Sponsorship Policy Draft - Clean <br /> <br />General Statement <br />This policy is intended to apply criteria and guidelines for sponsorships. The objective is to welcome <br />sponsorships that support the City of Arden Hill's mission and benefit the community. <br /> <br />Guidelines <br />The City will not accept sponsorships in the following cases: <br />• The sponsor's product or service competes with the City's programs or facilities. <br />• The sponsorship interferes with the City's political or religion neutrality. <br />• The sponsor requests to limit the City's ability to seek or approve other sponsors. <br />• The sponsor's products, services, and messaging conflicts with City policies or goals. <br />• The City will exercise full discretion to decline or terminate any sponsorship at any time, for any <br />reason it deems appropriate. <br /> <br />The City does not accept sponsorships from entities associated with: <br />• Tobacco, vaping, cannabis, alcohol, gambling, or weapons <br />• Religious or political organizations or candidates <br />• Adult content or sensitive social issues <br /> <br />Recognition of Sponsors <br />• Recognition of sponsorship shall not suggest the City is endorsing the sponsor's products, <br />service, or message. <br />• All sponsorships require written agreement for a defined period of time. <br />• The City reserves the right to decline or terminate any sponsorship at its sole discretion. <br /> <br />Categories <br />Sponsorships are appropriate for the following broad types of activities: <br />• City-sponsored events <br />• Program delivery, including financial or in-kind support <br /> <br />Level of Recognition <br />Sponsors will be provided with a level of recognition that is commensurate with their level of contribution <br />as outlined in the Sponsorships Brochure. <br />
