Principal Project Manager <br /> <br />SUBJECT: 2026 PMP Street and Utility Improvements Project – Feasibility Study Review <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $3,300,000 $3,089,000 PIR, Special Assessments, <br /> (Proposed 2026 CIP) (Feasibility estimate) Utility Funds, RCWD Grant <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br /> <br />Council should consider: <br />• Project update related to the feasibility study presentation provided by Bolton & Menk. <br />• Provide direction related to proceeding with the design “alternative” to remove <br />accumulated sediment at five delta locations. <br />• Provide direction related to the Karth Lake Pump System Improvement options. <br /> <br />Background <br />The 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP), identifies proposed street and utility <br />improvements within the Karth Lake neighborhood area for 2026. The proposed streets include <br />Karth Lake Dr., Pleasant Drive (between south and north cul-de-sacs), Pleasant Dr. (Amble Dr. <br />to south cul-de-sac), Pleasant Circle, Amble Drive (Karth Lake Dr to Lexington Avenue), Karth <br />Lake Circle, and Cummings Park Drive, which includes approximately 133 properties adjacent <br />to the street improvements. <br /> <br />The City Council Work Session on February 10, 2025, included discussion of the anticipated <br />scope of work within the project area. At the March 10, 2025 regular Council Meeting, <br />Resolution 2025-025 ordered the preparation of a feasibility report for the 2026 PMP Street and <br />Utility Improvement Project and approved a Professional Services Agreement with Bolton & <br />Menk <br /> <br />
