Absent - Councilman James Wingert. <br /> Also Preaent- Engineer Donald Christoffersen. Clerk Administrator <br /> Charlotte McNie.h, Deputy Clerk Dorothy Zehm. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> McAllister moved, seconded by Hollenhorst, that the Minutes of <br /> the October 13th Councll meeting be approved as corrected. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. (3-0) <br /> Businesa froa the Floor <br /> New Brighton Bulletin reporter, Larry Jones, requested that speak- <br /> era from the floor be asked to give their names and addreases at <br /> all meetings. <br /> Council concurred, <br /> REPORT OF VILLAGE ENGINEER DONALD CHRISTOFFERSEN <br /> Fesalbllity Report - Improvement No. 81-4. Lexinaton Avenue <br /> Curb and Gutter <br /> Counci 1 was re ferred to the Feasibl1ity Report re Ramsey County <br /> Lexington Ave. Impr. SAP 62-51-16, Arden Hills Imp r. 81-4 (dated <br /> 10-22-81) . <br /> In discuasion, Christoffersen noted that the $5,000 miscellaneoua <br /> coat is intended to cover any nominal costa for easements which <br /> the munlcipality is expected to obtain. <br /> Council diacusaed the alternative methods of financing the pro- <br /> ject, whlch is eatlmated at $23,900. After discussion, McAllister <br /> 1Il0ved, seconded by Hollenhorst, that Council adopt Resolution No. <br /> 81-76, RECEIVING REPORT AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON IM- <br /> PllOVEHENT NO. 81-4. Motion carried unanimously (3-0) <br /> Resolution No. 81-78, Psrking Restrictions on Grey Fox Road <br /> Chriatoffersen explained that approval of the proposed 36' wide <br /> street as a Municipal State Aid Street project ls conditioned <br /> upon restricted parking on one side; noted that parking will be <br /> restricted to the 80U th side of Grey Fox Road as proposed. <br /> After discussion, Hollenhorst moved, seconded by McAllister, that <br /> Council adopt Reaolution No. 81-78, PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON GREY <br /> . FOX ROAD. Motion carried unanimously (3- 0) , <br /> Petition for Street Improvement (1415-59 Glenhl11 Road) - Pre- <br /> liminary Discuaslon <br /> MayosrWoodburn explained that the Clty of Roseville recelved a <br /> petition requesting the improvement of Glenhill Road, and because <br /> the street is, in part, in Arden Hills, forwarded a copy of the <br /> petition to Arden Hills. <br /> Woodburn explalned the different assessment policies ln the two <br /> municipal1tles (Roseville - 25% of cost assessed; Arden Hills <br /> 80% - 100% of cost assessed; balance on general taxes) Woodburn <br /> explained that becauae of the different taxlng policles, it is a <br /> difficult problem to resolve; noted that the eatimated street <br />
