<br />\ <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Council Meeting <br /> <br />August 10, 1981 <br /> <br />Status Report - 1982 Proposed Budqet <br />McNlesh reported the 1982 estimated expenditures in the General Fund are <br />about 6.6% over the 1981 Budget; the estimated revenue is 60,000 less than <br />last year due primarily to a change In formula. Council discussed various <br />means of raising the needed additional revenue. No determinations were <br />made. <br /> <br />It was noted that the Finance Committee will meet with Council and staff, <br />after review of the proposed Budget and then make its Budget recommendations, <br />preferably without Council In-put. <br /> <br />Transfer of Funds <br />Council was referred to McNiesh's memo of 8-10-81 recommending transfer of ... <br />funds effective July 31st. <br /> <br />After discussion, Wingert moved, seconded by McAllister, that Council approve <br />the permanent transfer of about $150,000 from the Sewer Sinking Fund 503 and <br />the temporary transfer of about $50,000 from the Permanent Improvement Revolv- <br />ing Fund 699, as outlined in McNlesh's memo. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />Counc II Reports <br />Council was reminded of the AugusT 19th Ramsey County League of Local Govern- <br />ments meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Rasevll Ie CITY Hall regarding Rosevll Ie's <br />experience In the recent Tornado disaster. <br /> <br />Letter from Attorney Lynden regarding Increased fees and estimaTed cost of <br />Ramsey County SHeriff In 1982 were briefly discussed. <br /> <br />McNlesh was requested to ask Shorevlew to share cost of energy for County Road <br />F/Lexington semaphore with Arden Hills. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />Hollenhorst moved, seconded <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />by Wingert, That the meeting adjourn aT II :00 p.m. <br />(4-0) <br /> <br />/.f /J <br />/ // Y <br />! t7 ....?
