<br />, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Minutes of Regulsr Council Meeting <br /> <br />May 26, 1981 <br /> <br />Briarknoll Park Dedication <br />McAllister reported that Mr, Dietrich has agreed to a $5,000 park <br />dedication for Briarknoll, in addition to the trail dedication, <br /> <br />Johnson moved, seconded by Hollenhorst, that Council accept the <br />$5,000 dedication to be payable at the rate of $115/lot at the <br />time of issuance of Building Permits in Second Addition, in add- <br />ition to the platted pedestrian ways; dedication to be paid in, <br />full within 2 years, Motion carried unanimously, <br /> <br />Proposed County Fines <br />Woodburn referred Council to letter from Court Administrator <br />Bushinski re Proposed Increases In Parking Fina Schedule; Re- <br />inatateaent of "L.te Pen.ltiea"l .aked Council's commenta. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />In discusaion it was generally concurred that the cities should <br />not atteapt to recover costs through fines; percentage wise it w.a <br />felt the fines seea to be high in soae instances: <br /> <br />$5 to $20 - where aigns prohibit stopping <br />$5 to $25 - coaaerical truck in park <br />$15 to $25 - snow emergency <br /> <br />MnDOT Letters of 515 and 5/15/81 re TH51 East and West Ramos <br />Traffic SiRnal Installation <br />Aftar diacussion, McNiesh was requested to write to MnDOT for clar- <br />ification of Arden Hills costs re the signalization, It is Counci1's <br />undarstanding that Arden Hills will assume 25% of the cost of tha <br />east ramp only and is awaiting comments from MnDOT relativa to <br />whether the west ramp signal is warranted and, if it is, the cost <br />to Arden Hilla, <br /> <br />Ad 10urnmen t <br />Hollenhorst moved, seconded by McAllister, that the meeting ad- <br />journ at 12:20 a,m.
