<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting <br />of City Council <br />City of Arden Hills <br />Ramsey County, Minne~ota <br /> <br />March 30, 1981 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br /> <br />of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was <br />held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, March 30, 1981, at <br />7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Crichton and <br /> <br />Councilmen Johnson, McAllister, Woodburn and Hollenhorst; and <br /> <br />the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Also present were Charlotte McNiesh, City Clerk Adminis- <br /> <br />trator; Donald Christoffersen, City Engineer; Donald Lamb, City <br /> <br />Treasurer; and Peter S. popovich, City Bond Consultant. <br /> <br />MAYOR CRICHTON: We will proceed into the public hearing <br />on Improvement No. P-81-l, Grey Fox Road, involving Resolution <br />No. 81-22. This public hearing involves the possibility of the <br />City improving and joining the sections of Grey Fox Road and the <br />industrial area off of Lexington Avenue, improving them up to <br />the M.S.A. standards. Would the Clerk Administrator verify that <br />affidavits of publication and mailing are on file. <br /> <br />CHARLOTTE McNIESH: Yes, the certificate of mailing indi- <br />cates that the notices were deposited in the New Brighton Post <br />Office on March 17 and the notice was published in the New <br />Brighton Bulletin on March 19 and March 26. <br /> <br />MAYOR CRICHTON: Thank you. Would our engineer, Mr. <br />Christoffersen, briefly explain the improvement. <br /> <br />MR. CHRISTOFFERSEN: Members of the Council, ladies and <br />gentlemen, Grey FOX Road is, as the Mayor said, a municipal <br />state aid street. If I could call your attention to this <br />drawing, County Road E is in this location, State Trunk Highway <br />51 is here, Snelling Avenue, Lexington Avenue is over in this <br />location. The M.S.A. road designation for Grey Fox Road in- <br />cludes Grey Fox Road from Lexington Avenue at this point to its <br />junction with Snelling Avenue up at this point. In other words, <br />this is all a portion of the designated M.S.A. street. Arden <br />Hills has placed Grey Fox Road as a number one priority in the <br />M.S.A. system. It is proposed to construct Grey Fox Road from <br />
