Amendment of the City Code to include cable TV <br />specifically as a utility. <br /> <br />After discussion, Council concurred with the recommendations of <br />the Underground Utilities Committee. <br /> <br />Public Works Committee Recommendations re Seal Coating Project <br />Council was referred to Johansen's memo of 3-20-81 re: 1981 Street <br />Seal Coating, and to map indicating streets proposed to be included <br />in the 1981 project. . <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Woodburn moved, seconded by Ho11enhorst, that Council authorize <br />preparation of the plans and specifications for the 1981 Seal Coat- <br />ing program as recommended by the Public Works Committee. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MC NIESH <br /> <br />Apportionment of Assessments, Reiling!Northridge Emerald Inn - <br />Resolutions No. 81-19 and 81-20 <br />Woodburn moved, seconded by Johnson, that Council adopt Resolution <br />No. 81-19. RESOLUTION RELATING TO APPORTIONMENT OF ASSESSMENTS <br />RELATING TO SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO.6, and Resolution No. <br />81-20, RESOLUTION RELATING TO APPORTIONMENT OF ASSESSMENTS RE- <br />LATING TO CONSOLIDATED WATER IMPROVEMENTS NUMBERED 67-1 AND 67-2. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Request for Use of Village Hall for Meetings <br />Council was referred to McNiesh's memo of 3-19-81 re request from <br />Board of Directors of Town House Village& South to use the Council <br />Chambers for their monthly meetings. <br /> <br />After discussion. Council approved the request, on a trial basis, <br />with the understanding that it may be rescinded if needed for <br />Village meetings. <br /> <br />Outlot B, Chatham Fourth Addition <br />Council was referred to McNiesh's memo (3-19-81) re luncheon meet- <br />ing with George Christenson, item 1. <br /> <br />After discussion, Council concurred with McNiesh's evaluation of <br />the possible assessment concerns and authorized her to relay this <br />information to the school district as outlined in her memo. <br /> <br />Retail Sales License Applications <br />McNiesh submitted the following retail sales license applications <br />to Council for approval: <br /> <br />1. Ronald L. Kadera Bike Repair - 1253 Connelly Ave. <br />2. Laudon Jewelry - 3553 Lexington Ave. <br />3. Christina Clinique - 3585 No. Lexington, Suite 380 <br /> <br />In discussion, Crichton reviewed the status of pending ordinance <br />violations at 1253 Connelly Avenue pertaining to screening of <br />exterior storage and pending Special Use Permit application. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />After discussion, McAllister moved. seconded by Ho11enhorst, that <br />Council deny the issuance of a retail sales l~cen~~, L. <br />Kadera at 1253 Connelly Ave. ~ ~ .u4. . ..-. - r. <br /> <br />(Council requested Filla to proceed with enforcement of the"Code; <br />if additional information is requested, ro advise Council.) <br /> <br />Johnson moved, seconded by Woodburn. that Council approve the re- <br />tail sales licenses for Laudon Jewelry, 3553 Lexington Ave., and <br />Christina's Clinique, 3585 No. Lexington.
