(if 4.11 remains) <br />1. m. and n. <br /> <br />Motion carried (Woodburn, Johnson, Hollenhorst, Crichton voting <br />in favor of the motion; McAllister voting in opposition). <br /> <br />Discussion of Council Procedure <br />McAllister expressed some of the concerns relative to meeting <br />procedure: <br /> <br />1. Feels it is important to know the concerns <br />of others on the Council, prior to a vote. <br />2. Feels meetinl!s are conducted with an excessive degree of <br />f.p ,rma 11 ty . <br /> <br />In discussion, Woodburn said he has purposely held his opinions <br />until opinions of others have been expressed; doesn't want to <br />impose his opinions on the Council; feels "nit-picking" isn't <br />necessary; feels too much time is spent on minute details. <br /> <br />Report on Hazardous Waste Meeting <br />Johnson queried the roll of Arden Hills relative to meetings, mail <br />received etc. It was explained that Council relies on Johnson's <br />report to Council. <br /> <br />Advertisement for Bids - 1981 Diseased Tree Removal Contract <br />Council was referred to Buckley's memo of 2-6-81 and attachments <br />the re to . <br /> <br />After discussion, McAllister moved, seconded by Hollenhorst, that <br />Council authorize advertisement for bids for 1981 Diseased Tree <br />Removal; bid opening to be Tuesday, March 3, 1981 at 2:00 p.m. at <br />the Village Hall; bid bond to be in the amount of 75% of the tab- <br />ulated cost of removing all the trees identified as diseased from <br />the previous year. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MC NIESH <br /> <br />Request for Time Extension for Temporary Si~n - Briarknoll <br />After review of Ordinance 216, and discussion, McAllister moved, <br />seconded by Woodburn, that Council grant an extension for the <br />temporary sign until February 24th, and advise applicant to make <br />application for the sign under Ordinance No. 216.
