Crichton <br />said he has not, ss yet determined whether this is beneficial <br />to Arden Hills. . <br /> <br />Ramsey County League of Local Government Breakfast Seminsr for <br />Newly Elected Officals. <br />Hollenhorst reminded Council of the breakfast seminar on February <br />21st; noted tbat a tentative agenda will be forthcoming. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE TREASURER DONALD LAMB <br /> <br />Investments <br />January 19th - $350,000 for 3 months, at 17.55% interest at <br />Northwestern Bank, St. Paul, to mature 4-20-81. <br /> <br />January 26th - $104,325 for 3 months, at 17% interest at First <br />Bank, to mature April 27, 1981.. <br /> <br />McAllister moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Council ratify the <br />Treasurer's investments. Motion carried unanimously, <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MC NIESH <br /> <br />Building Permit Fee Schedules <br />McNiesh referred Council to her memo of 1-21-81 re Building Permit <br />Fees and noted that the schedule of fees adopted by Resolution <br />No. 81-8 are lower than the 1979 UBC schedule. <br /> <br />After review of the memo and discussion, Council concurred that <br />the present fee schedule appears to be adequate as adopted by <br />Resolution No, 81-8. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 81-11, Establishing Fees for Amusements and <br />Recreation, Various Businesses, Itinerant Food Vendors snd Vending <br />Machines <br />Johnson moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Council adopt Resolution <br />No. 81-11, ESTABLISHING FEES FOR AMUSEMENTS AND RECREATION, VARIOUS <br />BUSINESSES, ITINERANT FOOD VENDORS AND VENDING MACHINES, Motion <br />carried unanimously, <br /> <br />Resolution No, 81-12, Establishing Fees for Limited Temporary <br />Permits <br />Woodburn moved, seconded by Johnson, that Council adopt Resolution <br />No. 81-12, ESTABLISHING FEES FOR LIMITED TEMPORARY PERMITS. Motion <br />carried unsnimously. <br /> <br />Claims and Payroll <br />In review of the Payroll, It was noted that four checks did not <br />reflect three days st the 1980 pay rate; this will be adjusted <br />on next payroll check. <br /> <br />Hollenhorst moved, seconded by Johnson, that Council approve the <br />claims and Payroll, recognizing corrections to the payroll as <br />noted. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />National Flood Insurance Program <br />Planner Hiller was requested to review model ordinance and flood <br />maps and prepare draft of required land use control ordinance for <br />Council's consideration. <br /> <br />RCWD Meeting of 11~20-80 <br />Council was referred to item No.4 (page 2) relative to cost of <br />raising manholes through s low area north of Lake Johanna and <br />south of E2 and splitting cost of same 50-50 with Arden Hills. <br /> <br />-5- <br />
