<br />1 <br />. <br /> Minutes of Special Council Meeting <br /> Village of Arden Hi lIs <br /> Thursday, November 6, 1980 - 5:30 p.m. <br /> Vi llage Hall <br /> Call to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Crepeau called the <br /> meeting to orde r at .f:30 p.m. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Present - Mayor Henry J. Crepeau, Jr. , Councilmen Charlie <br /> Crich ton, Ward Hanson, James Winge rt. <br /> Absent - Councilman Robe rt Woodburn <br />. <br /> Also Present C Ie rk Administrator Charlotte McNiesh <br /> - <br /> 1980 City Election <br /> Following re view of the attached statement of results of the <br /> canvass of votes Cas t. at the November 4th election, Wingert <br /> mo ve d . seconded by Hanson to accept the election report on the <br /> canvass and declared Cha rlie Crichton elected Mayor for a two- <br /> year term. Jane t Ho llenhors t and Di an e McAllis ter elected Council <br /> membe rs for four-year terms. Motion carried un an imously. <br /> Mayor Crepeau congratulated Crichton, Hollenhors t and McAllister, <br /> wished a suc<;essful tenure of off i ce to all and presented the <br /> Certificates of Election. <br /> Northwes tern College Park Dedication <br /> Crichton moved.. seconded by Hanson, to accep t $5,000.00 as full <br /> sati"faction of the park dedication requirement in connection <br /> with the development of the Fine Arts Ce n te r at Northwestern <br /> Co lle ge . Payment shall consist of $2,000.00 prior to issuance <br /> of the Occupancy Permi t, $1,500.00 one year 1 ate r and $1.500 <br /> two years la te r. Motion carried unanimously.
