<br />.. . <br /> <br />-7- <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Council Meeting <br /> <br />September 8, 1980 <br /> <br />Human ~ights Commission <br />Hanson reported the resignation of Myrtle Olson from <br />Commission and recommended the appointment of Bertha <br /> <br />the Human Righ ts <br />Gilbertson. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Woodburn appointed Bertha Gilbertson to fill the <br />unexpired term of Myrtle Olson on the Human Rights Commission (term <br />expires in 1982). <br /> <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Hanson, that Council ratify the appointment <br />by Acting Mayor Woodburn. Motion carried un.nimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MC NIESH <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Policy Regarding Used Truck Auctions <br />Council was referred to McNiesh's memo of 9-5-80 regarding Used Truck <br />Auctions <br /> <br />After diSCUSSion, Council concurred that the truck auctions are not <br />appropriate or permitted by City Code. <br /> <br />Purchase of Royal 115 Copier . <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council authorize the purchase <br />of the Royal 115 Copier as per McNiesh's memo of 9-5-80. Metion carried <br />unanimously. (4-0). <br /> <br />(McNiesh was directed to accept the $50.00 allowance for the old copier). <br /> <br />Resolution No. 80-39, Multiple Family Residences-Utility Rates <br />Council was referred to draft of Resolution No. 80-39. <br /> <br />After review, Council spproved the drsft of Resolution No. 80-39 as <br />amended. <br /> <br />Claims and Payroll <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Hsnson that Council approve the Claims and <br />Payroll as submitted. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0). <br /> <br />Buckley Memo Regarding City Policy Toward N.W. Service Bureau's use of <br />Arden Hills park department for scheduling of work for Arden Hills <br />offenders.
