<br />Case No. 80-34, Rezoninq from 1.2 to B-2, Schedule Publ Ie HearlnQ
<br />Hingert moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Cou~il schedule a public hearing before
<br />the Planning Commission on Wednesday, September 3rd, 1980 at 8:00 p,m. at the
<br />Village Hall. Motion carried uranlmousiy.

<br />Case No. 80-24, Variance for Gar'aQe - Thomas Carroll, 3131 N. LexinQton Avenue
<br />Engineer Weltzln, Ramsey County Engineer, distributed a mamo from Paul Kirkwood
<br />I-a sight lines at the northwest cOl'ner of Lexington Avenue and County Road D
<br /><8/18/80l and described the retaining wall (2f' to 3' In height) to be constructed
<br />on the County rlght-ot-way. Weltzin explained that the situation has been evacluated
<br />by his office and no potential problem Is seen with a garage located es proposed
<br />by the Carrol Is. Weltzln suggested that since the sight-I ine is difficult to ,
<br />determine \~ith the house and hi I' there (!1c,use \~i II be removed and lot graded in
<br />the next weak or two), a decision on the matter be deferred until after the house
<br />and hi!ij are removed.

<br />Shirley Bamberry presented a petition to Council, signed by approximately 24 neighbors
<br /><representing about 12 househo!cs) on County Road D and Shoreline Lane opposing
<br />the proposed garage.
