OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Hunters Park Apartments - Landscape Performance Bond and <br />Utility Rate <br />Council was referred to letter from Bailey Enterprises, Inc. (7/24/80) <br />and to letter from the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency (7/30/80). <br /> <br />A. Landscape Bon~ <br />After discussion, Wingert moved, seconded by Crichton, <br />that Council waive the performance bond requirement <br />for the Hunters Park apartments, contingent upon receipt <br />of copy of bond furnished to the Minnesota Housing <br />Finance Agency assuring plantings in place as per <br />approved plan prior to occupancy. Motion carried unan- <br />imously. <br /> <br />B. Utility Rate <br /> <br />After discussion of current utility rates charged by <br />the City and memo from McNiesh, Hanson moved, seconded <br />by CriChton, that Council adopt Resolution No. 80-39, <br />Establisning that rates for 3 or more housing units, <br />which are controlled by a common meter and connected <br />to municipal water be considered the same as commercial <br />for billing purposes for mlln1cipal wate~ and aewer and <br />that Council deny the requested rate change to 60C/l,OOO <br />gallons. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Public Safety Committee Recommendation re Additional Civil <br />Defense Sirens <br />Council was referred to Minutes of the Public Safety Committee meeting <br />of 7/21/80 re Civil Defense Sirens. Woodburn noted that the Committee <br />recommends that $20,000 be incorporated in 1981 budget for a~ditional <br />Civil Defense sirens. <br /> <br />Council concurred that the placement and types of sirens needs more <br />study, concurred to budget for one additional siren at $10,000. <br /> <br />In order to determine if sirens are heard by Village residenta, Clerk <br />Administrator was requested to ask residents, when they call the office <br />on various matters, if they hear a siren and to nete the approximate <br />location of the residence on a map of those who do hear a siren. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE CLER~ ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE McNIESH <br /> <br />August Council Meetinl\:!. <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Crichton, that August Fegular Council Meetings <br />be scheduled on August 11th and 25th and a Special Council Meeting be <br />held on August 18th at 7:30 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 80-37, Approving Proposed Special Assessment Rolls <br />and Scheduling Public Hearing for August 18, <br />1980, 7:30 p.m. for Improvements Nos. 78-3, <br />78-4, 78-6 and 79-1 <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Ranson, that Council adopt Resolution No. <br />80-37.
