Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />(Crepeau left the meeting - 12:30 ~.m.) <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Cable Communications Needs Assessment Report <br />Wingert referred Council to additions to the Demographics portion of <br />the Needs Assessment Report which divides the City into II area~ and <br />reviewed Tables 1 and 2; noted that an Appendix substantiating the <br />report has been prepared and will be attached to the report. <br /> <br />., After a brief discussion, Hanson moved, seconded by Crichton, that <br />Council accept the Needs Assessment Report. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 80-34, Authorizing Participation in the North Suburban <br />Cable Commission and Appointing Director and Alternate Director. <br />Woodburn reported that Mayor Crepeau has appointed James Wingert as <br />Director and Charlotte McNiesh as Alternste Director. <br /> <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Hanson, that Council ratify the Mayor's <br />appointments and autholri~. adoption and execution of Resolution <br />No. 80-34. Motion carriea unanimously. <br /> <br />Final Landscape Reports <br /> <br />A. Flaherty's Arden Bowl <br /> <br />Council was referred to Kruckenberg's Inspection Report <br />of 6/24/S0, indicating several dead plantings. <br /> <br />Hanson moved, seconded by Crichton, that Council approve <br />the landscaping, contingent upon replacement of the dead <br />stock, and authorize release of the bond. Motion *arried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />B. Sutton Place <br /> <br />After review of Kruckenberg's Inspection Report of 6/25/80, <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Crichton, that Council approve <br />the landscaping and authorize release of the bond. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />(It was noted that the northwest corner landscaping will be included <br />in the plan for the second phase of site development). <br /> <br />Attorney Regnier's Requ~st re Northwestern College Park Dedication <br />(See Report of Parks Director above). <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE McNIESH <br /> <br />Claims and Payroll <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council approve the Claims <br />... and Payroll as submitted.
