<br />. <br /> <br />Minutes of the Arden Hills Regular Council MeetirxJ, 6-24-91 <br />Page 10 <br /> <br />CHIPPING (Cent'd) Mayor Sather suggested promotion of the site via Cable <br />'IV, TcMn Crier and local newspapers, outlining the <br />procedures, costs and hours of operation. <br /> <br />Council concurred to direct staff to prepare a detailed plan of procedures and <br />pranotion of the site for review at a future meetirxJ. <br /> <br />PUMPING WATER <br />TORr.LE IAKE <br /> <br />Counci1member Malone questioned if staff has contacted <br />st. Paul Water regarding the city of Sh=eview pumpirxJ <br />water into Turtle Lake. <br /> <br />Public Works SUperintendent Winkel explained that Shoreview Engineer Chuck Ahl <br />indicated the City of Sh=eview is evaluatirxJ the possible pumpirxJ of water fram <br />st. Paul Water into the north end of Turtle Lake, to maintain an established lake <br />level. <br /> <br />Attorney Filla recommended Arden Hills f=ward concerns to st. Paul Water and the <br />Department of Natural Resources re;Jarding the pumpirxJ of water into Turtle Lake <br />and Snail Lake. <br /> <br />Council concurred to direct the Clerk Administrator to forward a letter to the <br />appropriate officials expressirxJ Arden Hills concerns relatirxJ to the proposed <br />pumpirxJ of water fram st. Paul Water into Turtle and Snail lakes, which include <br />depletion of water supply, control of the valve and same fann of guarantee that <br />an appropriate water level for the city of Arden Hills is maintained. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MISC; ABSENCE <br />FRCM MEEl'ING <br /> <br />Counci1member Growe advised she is unable to attend the <br />July 8 Regular Council MeetirxJ. <br /> <br />eounci1member Malone questioned if the SnellirxJ Avenue assessment hearirxJ should <br />be postponed. <br /> <br />Attorney Filla advised three affinnative Council votes would be sufficient to <br />adopt the proposed assessment roll. <br /> <br />PRE'3ENI'ATION; Mayor Sather presented Nancy Hansen a plaque in <br />crMBR.
