Evaluation of the four sites identified in the City Hall study for proposed <br />City Hall am Public Works facilities. <br />2. Preparation of a Space Program with schematics for both facilities. <br />3. Architectural Renderings of the Wilding exteriors. <br /> <br />Council further directed the lIdministrator to develop a list of architectural <br />finns to be sent the RFP, am that the RFP am list be forwarded to Council for <br />review am camnent. <br /> <br />Council thanked Mr. oliver for his suggestions. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ~ <br /> <br />1992 Buo:::EI' <br />PREPARATION <br /> <br />Counci1member Malone questioned if staff has established <br />a tilne table for the 1992 Budget preparation. <br /> <br />'Ihe Administrator reported on the status of b.ldget preparation. <br /> <br />Council discussed establishing budget guidelines for staff use in preparation of <br />the 1992 budget. <br /> <br />After discussion, Council concu=ed it would be preferable for staff to present <br />the proposed 1992 budget items as a "no change" list am to prepare an optional <br />list of items, which are service oriented, for Council consideration; such as <br />additional personnel or equipnent. <br /> <br />WATER SIUDY Counci1member Malone conunented that the water study <br />infonnation provided by the City A=untant indicates <br />several unexplainable variations in the numbers for billing versus water use. He <br />stressed the ~""ity of staff expediting completion of the study. <br /> <br />Administrator Berger advised the report provided by the Accountant was suhnitted <br />to Council for infonnational purposes. He explained the Accountant will be <br />scheduling a meeting with the Auditor to discuss the matter. <br /> <br />ASSFSSMENT BRING; <br />NORl'H SNELLING AVE. <br /> <br />Counci1member Mahowald questioned if the Engineer has <br />provided any infonnation relating to the cost of the <br />proposed assessment of North Snelling Avenue. <br /> <br />The Administrator reported the bid opening for the project is scheduled for July <br />8, the same date as the public healring, am infonnation relating to the bids will <br />not be available until the hearing; <br /> <br />Council concu=ed to direct staff to contact the City Engineer am advise him to <br />prepare a reduced per front foot rate, in the event the bid quotes for this <br />project are lower than estimated costs. <br />
