<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />," <br /> <br />Minutes of the Arden Hills O:>uncil Worksession Meeting, 6-17-91 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />SNELLING (Cont'd) Deputy Clerk Iago reported on infonnation relative to <br />previous street ilI1provements on Royal Hills Drive, <br />McClung Drive and Briarknoll Avenue and distriluted infonnation from Engineer <br />Graham regarding calculations for corner lots on these streets. <br /> <br />PROP'D BRUSH <br />DISPOSAL SITE <br /> <br />O:>uncilmember Malone referred to the memoran:ium from the <br />Clerk Administrator dated 6-17-91, regarding the Brush <br />Disposal site and questioned if the intent is to provide <br />this service for residents. <br /> <br />O:>uncilmember Hansen suggested residents be responsible for disposal of brush on <br />their property, rather than the City providing this service. <br /> <br />Mayor Sather camnented that if a service is not provided to residents the debris <br />roay be ciurrped in a City park or open space. <br /> <br />O:>uncil suggested staff investigate the possibility of hiring a contractor to <br />provide the chiwing service to residents for a fee, and the city providing a <br />site for residents to bring roaterials for disposal. <br /> <br />S'l.'a<iE AVENUE O:>uncilmember Hansen questioned the status of the <br />IMPROVEMENT discussions with residents relative to the inprovement of <br />stowe Avenue. She reported that residents have advised <br />her they are being harassed into signing a petition to ilI1prove the streets. <br /> <br />Councilmember Malone advised the inprovement of stowe Avenue is not programmed on <br />the Ramsey County CIP and upon receipt of a petition from residents, the City <br />would request the County to schedule the inprovement; the residents would be <br />assessed for the project costs. <br /> <br />'mAIL IMPRVMI'. O:>uncilmember Mahowald questioned if the trail between <br />Floral Park and Harnline Avenue was scheduled as part of <br />the inprovements authorized by O:>uncil in the 1991 Trail Inprovement Project. <br />He questioned if residents were contacted regarding the installation of this <br />trail. <br /> <br />'!he Administrator stated he would check with the Parks Director and report to <br />Council. <br /> <br />llJNCHEDN ; <br />NANCY HANSEN <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator Berger invited Council to atteOO a <br />luncheon at city Hall on Thursday, June 27, between 11:30 <br />a.m. and 1:00 p.m., to honor Council1nember Hansen. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Mahowald m:wed, seconded by Malone, that the meeting be <br />"';"""'" at "" P~~.
