<br />,.., <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />. <br />.\ <br /> <br />MINUI'ES OF WE ARDEN HILlS RmJIAR COUNCIL MEEI'ING <br />MONDAY, ~ 25, 1991, 7:30 P.M. - CITY HALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Sather <br />called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL The roll being called the following members were present: <br />Mayor Thomas Sather, eouncilJnembers Nancy Hansen, Paul <br />Malone, and Thomas Mahowald. Absent: Council1ne.mber JoAnn Growe. Also present: <br />Engineers Terry Maurer and Mark Graham, Park Director John Buckley, Public Works <br />Superinterxient Dan Winkel, Clerk Administrator Gary Berger and Deputy Clerk <br />Catherine Iago. <br /> <br />CALL 'IO ORDER <br /> <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Malone, to adopt the March 25 <br />Agenda as suhnitted. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />APPROVE Councillne:mber Malone referred to the 5/19/91 Council <br />MINUTFS Worksession minutes, page 2, under "city Logo" and <br />recalled that eouncil1ne.mber Mahowald had stated a <br />preference for the logo with the "peaks" design, rather than the "block" <br />lettering. Mahowald concurred. <br /> <br />AOOPI AGENDA <br /> <br />Mahowald moved, seconded by Malone, to approve the <br />February 19 Worksession and the March 11 Regular Council Meeting minutes, as <br />subnitted, and approve the March 18 Worksession minutes as amended. Motion <br />carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />CONSENT <br />CALENDAR <br /> <br />Moved by Hansen, seconded by Malone, to approve the <br />Consent Calendar as suhnitted, and authorize execution of <br />all necessary dOClllllE!l1ts contained therein: <br /> <br />a. Approve Business Licenses: Minnesota Viking Food Service at Control Data, <br />Restaurant, and Arden Hills Tire & Service, 3757 North Lexington, Retail <br />Sales. <br />b. Approve Refuse Collector License for Northern Disposal. <br />c. Amend Resolution Nos. 91-01 and 91-04, Relating to Banking Procedures. <br />d. Approve List of Claims and Payroll. <br /> <br />Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />PUBLIC ~ <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />1991 PAVEMENT~; <br />IMPROVEMENI'S <br /> <br />Mayor Sather opened the meeting at 7:35 p.m. for the <br />purpose of a public hearing on the proposed 1991 <br />Pavement Management Improvement Project. <br /> <br />Deputy Clerk Iago verified publication of the Notice of Hearing in the New <br />BriClhton Bulletin on Wednesday, March 13, 1991, and mailing to affected property <br />owners the same date. <br /> <br />Engineer Graham briefly reviewed the street :improvement project, which includes <br />bituminous overlay and seal coating of streets as outlined in the feasibility <br />report. He explained that eouncil has determined fifty percent (50%) of the costs <br />for bituminous overlay of streets will be assessed to abutting property owners. <br />
