<br />Minutes of the Arden Hills Regular Council Meeting, 2/11/91 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />lABOR AGREEMENTj eouncil was referred to a memorandum from the Clerk <br />IIDE #49 CONTRAcr Administrator dated 2-8-91, and co=espondence from <br />IIDE Business Representative Tim Connors dated 2-7-91 and <br />Karen Olsen, Labor Relations Associates, dated 2-6-91, relating to settlement of <br />the 1991/92 Agreement between the City of Arden Hills and IIDE Local 49. <br /> <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Growe, to accept the three <br />percent (3%) wage in=ease on the base wage rate for 1991 and 1992, retroactive <br />to January 1, 1991, and an additional ten dollars ($10.00) per month in the <br />employer insurance contr:iJ:ution for each of the two years = the same <br />contr:iJ:ution as that paid for nonunion city employees. Motion carried <br />unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />COUNCIL <n1MENTS <br /> <br />I'KlRKSESSION; <br />RF'P'S SAlARY <br />cx:MPENSATION <br />PIAN <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator Berger reported that he had contacted <br />four organizations regarding proposals for review of the <br />employee <::onpensation plan and to date he has received <br />no response. He noted this item is scheduled for <br />eouncil discussion at the 2-19-91 worksession. <br /> <br />RCLLG mG. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hansen reported she is unable to attend the <br />RCLLG meeting. <br /> <br />NO PARKING <br />SIGNS <br /> <br />Councilmember Hansen questioned if the no parking signs <br />relating to the recently adopted Snow Removal policy have <br />been installed. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Public Works SUperintendent Winkel advised the installation of the signs was <br />postponed to aCCOllllll()jate the changes in the parking regulations and are delayed <br />until next fall, due to the frost in the ground. <br /> <br />DRAFT LEITERj <br />CENSUS VOLUNl'EERS <br /> <br />Councilmember Malone suggested a letter be drafted <br />to the proper authorities, as per Building Official <br />Kriesel's reconnnendation, protesting the legislation <br />relating to the State SUrcharge. <br /> <br />eouncilmember Malone suggested a letter be forwarded to <br />Dorothy Zehm and Jeanne Winiecki, thanking both for their <br />participation in the Census reporting process. <br /> <br />DRAFT LEITER; <br />SI'ATE SURCHARGE <br />I,&;ISIATION <br /> <br />RE;1UFSI' ANTENNA <br />CHANGE, CELllJLl\R <br />ONE, WATER 'IOOER <br /> <br />eouncilmember Malone reported on a meeting with <br />representatives from Cellular One and Administrator <br />Berger, to discuss the proposed plans f= antenna <br />replacement on the water tower. <br /> <br />UPDATEj mG. <br />I,&;ISIATORS <br /> <br />eouncilmember Growe advised a luncheon meeting is <br />scheduled with Senator Knaak, Representative Krinkie, and <br />Council on 2-15-91, at 11:30 a.m. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Councilmerober Mahowald stated he is unable to attend this meeting and also the <br />worksession scheduled 2-19-91. <br />
