Motion carried <br />unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />DIsaJSSION; <br />UNDE\lEWPED lAND <br />MAP & PlANNING <br />ACl'IVITIES SUMMARY <br /> <br />Council was referred to a report fram Planner Bergly <br />dated 12-14-90, relating to the annual update of the <br />Arden Hills Undeveloped Land Map and SUImnary of Planning <br />Activities. <br /> <br />Bergly discussed map and planning SI.1llIll'IClrY. <br /> <br />Council discussed the remaining t:i1ne-frame f= aa:::amplishing development in the <br />Round Lake TIF district. <br /> <br />Council thanked Bergly for the report. <br /> <br />REX;1UE'Sl' ; CELLUU\R <br />ONE, REPlACEMENT <br />ANTENNA, WATER'IWR. <br /> <br />eouncil was referred to a report fram the Planner dated <br />1-14-91, relative to a request fram Cellular One to <br />modify the arrangement of their antennas located on <br />the city water tower, Fernwood Avenue. <br /> <br />Bergly discussed the proposed change in the type of antenna and noted that the <br />existing antennas are larger than those shown on the initial drawings subnitted <br />to the City. <br /> <br />Council1nember Malone stated he does not object to the type of replacement <br />antennas proposed, hcMever, he preferred the antenna height be de=eased. He <br />discussed locating the antermas lower on the water tower. <br /> <br />Warren Dunlap, representing Cellular One, advised the antennas may be lowered on <br />the tripod mounting, however, they cannot be placed lower on the water tower as <br />that will interfere with reception. <br /> <br />Council discussed height adjusbnent of the two proposed antennas and a design <br />change which will maintain visual consistency. <br /> <br />Council questioned if the lease agreement provides f= any monetary adjusbnents <br />when the antenna design is changed. <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator Berger stated he will review the lease agreement with <br />Atto=ey Filla to detennine if any monetary adjusbnents are required. <br /> <br />Dunlap stated he will discuss the design changes with the company en;Jineer and <br />return with a revised plan. <br /> <br />Mahowald moved, seconded by Growe, to table discussion of <br />the request fram Cellular One for replacement antenna on the city water tower to <br />the regular eouncil meeting held January 28, to allow Cellular to determine if <br />the two proposed antennas and the existing antenna could be adjusted to the same <br />design configuration and a uniform height, and to allow staff to review the lease <br />agreement for reference to any monetary adjusbnents necessary for the proposed <br />design change in antennas. r-btion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br />
