<br />. ., <br />. <br /> Arden Hills Council 4 December 28, 1992 <br /> Malone agreed with Person's recommendation, and added that <br /> he is comfortable with allowing a bidder to withdraw a bid, <br /> but in that case the sale should be awarded to the next <br /> highest bidder. <br /> Council voted on Hicks' motion; motion failed (2-2) with <br /> Hicks and Sather voting aye, Malone and Growe voting nay. <br /> MOTION: Malone moved, seconded by Hicks, to award the sale of <br /> vehicle #4 to Noonan for a sale price of $10,200; <br /> vehicle #26 to Noonan for a sale price of $9,850; and <br /> vehicle #17 to Johnson for a sale price of $3,551. <br /> Motion carried unanimously (4-0) . <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> APPLICATION FROM COTTAGE VILLAS <br /> FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING <br /> Administrator Person drew Council's attention to a letter <br /> from developer John Arkell regarding application from <br />. Cottage Villas of Arden Hills for tax increment financing, <br /> which was recently received and forwarded to Council for <br /> informational purposes. She suggested this matter be placed <br /> on a worksession agenda in January 1993; Council concurred. <br /> Council suggested staff forward the application to financing <br /> specialist, Casserly and Associates, for their review prior <br /> to the January worksession. Person suggested that both the <br /> firms of Casserly and Associates and Ehlers and Associates, <br /> could be asked to review the application and provide input. <br /> Council directed staff to forward the application to both <br /> firms for their review. <br /> 1993 MEETING CALENDAR <br /> Councilmember Malone asked if Council can expect to receive <br /> a calendar for 1993 regularly scheduled meetings. Person <br /> stated the 1993 calendar is nearly prepared and she expects <br /> it wi 11 be included on the first regular Council agenda in <br /> 1993 for approval. <br /> COUNCILMEMBER GROWE'S FAREWELL <br /> Being Councilmember Growe's last Council meeting due to her <br /> resignation effective 1/1/93, she thanked the citizens of <br /> Arden Hills for the opportunity to serve them as a member of <br />. the City Council. She stated the experience has been <br /> rewarding, and she advised the public that they are very <br /> fortunate in that there is a lot of talent and expertise <br /> within the City Council and staff. <br /> ____u_m_ ____mm <br />
