Arden Hills Council 8 September 14 , 1992 <br /> interest in the property has apparently not been forwarded <br /> to higher levels of authority . <br /> Council directed Clerk Administrator Person to work with <br /> Planning Commission Chair Probst to assure appropriate <br /> pursuit of this matter . <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> PODLASEK DRIVEWAY ISSUE <br /> Councilmember Malone commented that in light of District <br /> Court ' s recent judgment that the City pay Francis Podlasek <br /> $978 for problems associated with his driveway allegedly due <br /> to the improvement of North Snelling Avenue , perhaps it <br /> would be appropriate to reverse Council ' s previous offer to <br /> pay Podlasek $800 for this matter . <br /> Deputy Clerk Iago informed that the City has until September <br /> 29 , 1992 to appeal the District Court judgment . Attorney <br /> Filla recommended against appeal . <br /> • Malone asked counsel if the assessment roll for the project <br /> should be amended because of this judgment . Attorney Filla <br /> said this matter will appear on a Council agenda in the near <br /> future . <br /> ARDEN PLACE DRAINAGE ISSUE <br /> Councilmember Mahowald asked if the City will be prepared in <br /> two weeks to conduct an assessment hearing on the Arden <br /> Place drainage issue . Attorney Filla stated that , at a <br /> minimum, the Council can hear comments at the September 28 , <br /> 1992 hearing and then continue the hearing if necessary . <br /> ADJOURN <br /> MOTION: Mahowald moved, seconded by Growe , to adjourn the <br /> meeting at 8 : 29 p .m.
