He recalled that <br />Tl1rners came to the Council some time ago with a similar <br />self-serving p~oposal. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Mahowald, to direct staff to <br />advise the charitable Gambling Control Board that <br />Turn.ers Gymnastics has not. met the City's COFlditi,ons, <br />therefore the City is withdrawing its approval for <br />Turners charitable gamb],ing permit. However, in the <br />course of the City's Buil~ing Official performing an audit <br />o~ SAC collections, it was learned that no SAC charges have <br />been collected from the Arden Manor Mobile Home Park, which <br />meant that about 200 units were at issue. Filla stated that <br />it appears the MWCC may agree to charge SAC on the units <br />"Jhenev€'r thE:l'."P. is a "reconnect" performed rather than <br />collect for the entire park at once. Filla said he would be <br />glad to complete his review of this issue and prepare a <br />report for Council's review at their next rreeting, Council <br />l:ecommended the attorney prepare a report on this matter. <br /> <br />bE~Y RESERVE CENTER <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Counoilmernber Mahowald asked for an update on the Army <br />Reserve Center space. Parks Director Buckley stated that <br />some staff members rnet with a delegation of Army Reserve <br />pecple on March 18 and the next step is for staff to tour <br />and review the Army Reser'Te facility to determine what space <br />is available and how the City could utilize th~ space. <br />C0l.1nc::i.1,:nembe:r~ MRh(n~ald st.ated that he Houle.. like to be <br />included in that review process. <br />
