(5-0) <br /> <br />Councilmernber Hicks questioned the expenditure related <br />to the City participation in the New Brighton Odor <br />Board for the renderin;J plant. <br /> <br />saIEDULE Mm; <br />DISC. srATUS <br />OF S'IOOE AVE. <br />IMPROVEMENl' <br /> <br />Council disC'l1ss'2d the necessity of continued participation in the costs related <br />to the New Brighton renderin;J plant and noted this matter was discussed at a <br />previous meetin;J in 1991. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Council concurred to direct staff to review previous council minutes relatin;J to <br />the time-frame for the city of Arden Hills participation in the payment of legal <br />fees for the Odor Control Board, prior to payment of the current statement from <br />the city of New Brighton. <br /> <br />REroRl'; LJVFD <br />PENSION Mm. <br /> <br />Councilmernber Malone reported on the LJVFD Pension <br />Association meetin;J. <br /> <br />ZEOS SIGN Councilmernber Malone noted the Zeos sign displayed the <br />time and temperature durin;J the last week and appeared to <br />be in compliance with the Sign Ordinance. He further advised that on the weekend <br />the sign displayed words and appeared to be Iflashin;J", which is not in <br />compliance with the Ordinance. <br /> <br />Attorney Filla explained the business was issued a citation for violation of the <br />Sign Ordinance and the court appearance was delayed; if the sign is not brought <br />into compliance, Zeos should be advised the city will pursue the court <br />a~. <br /> <br />ODOR PROBLEM; <br />HAMLINE AVE. <br /> <br />Councilmernber Grawe questioned the status of the HaInline <br />Avenue odor problem. <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator Berger advised he has not been able to contact the Engineer <br />in Woocltmy to discuss this matter. <br /> <br />Grawe requested the Administrator report on this matter at a future meetin;J. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />councilmernber Mahowald questioned the status of the <br />city Newsletter and scheduled publication date. <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator Berger explained the staff has met with Grant Pound to <br />discuss the fonnat and schedule for printin;J the newsletter.
