.

.

-

,

MINUTES OF THE ARDEN HILLS COUNCIL WORKSESSION 5/18/93
PAGE FOUR

The Business License and Signage for Arden Hills Nursery have been renewed for many
years, however, the Ordinance does not allow for this type of use on residential property.
The Administrator requested direction from Council on this issue. Council indicated
that the Administrator may allow for a reasonable time period to provide ordinance
compliance.

The Building Official Dave Kriesel indicated that tagging or ticketing of recreational
vehicles would be addressed over the next few months. Kriesel indicated he plans to
notify violators initially through an informational notice, through the local papers and
the City newsletter, followed by warning notices with enforcement as a last step. Council
agreed and concurred that this arrangement is acceptable to take place over the summer
with enforcement in early fall.

Administrator Comments: Administrator Person made note of a Town meeting
scheduled for May 22 at 7:30 am at Irondale High School. The meeting will be
conducted by Bruce Vento and the agenda will include a legislative wrap up,

Council Comments: Councihnember Aplikowski would like to address the issue of an
Economic Development Committee at the next Council Worksession.

Adjourn: Malone moved, seconded by Hicks to adjourn at 8:05, Motion carried. (5-0),

Dorothy A. Person, City Administrator
