. . . , MINUTES CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING January 11, 1993 7:30 P.M. - city Hall CALL TQ ORDER/ROLL CALL Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Sather called to order the regular City Council meeting at 7:30 p.m. Present: Mayor Thomas Sather; councilmembers Beverly Aplikowski, Paul Malone. Councilmember Hicks was absent. Also pr~sent were: City Attorney, Jerry Filla; City Planner, John Bergly; Clerk Administrator, Dorothy Person; Deputy Clerk/Zoning Administrator, Catherine Iago; Recording Secretary, Shar Foster. ADOPT AGENDA Administrator Person asked that agenda item "Presentation of Plaques/Recognition of Service" be moved from early in the meeting to late in the meeting because recipients will be joining the meeting later. Council agreed to make this adjustment to the agenda. MOTION: Malone moved, seconded by Aplikowski, to adopt the January 11, 1993 agenda with rearrangement of order as noted above. Motion carried unanimously (3-0). APPROVAL OF COUNCIL MINUTES Administrator Person noted that under "Committee Appointments for 1993" on page four of the January 4, 1993 Council meeting minutes, there are chairpersons and vice- chairpersons designations for committees; she recommended chair/vice chair designations be removed allowing those positions to be determined administratively. Councilmember Malone recalled that Council has appointed chairpersons in the past, per ordinance. MOTION: Aplikowski moved, seconded by Malone, to approve the minutes of the December 28, 1992 Regular Council Meeting and the January 4, 1993 Special Council Meeting. Motion carried unanimously (3-0). CONSENT CALENDAR MOTION: Malone moved, seconded by Aplikowski, to approve the Consent Calendar and authorize execution of all necessary documents contained therein. Motion carried unanimously (3-0).
