<br /> " <br /> ,- <br /> . . <br /> Minutes of Regular Council Meeting <br /> Village of Arden Hills <br /> tuesday, De cembe r 27, 1983 - 7:30 p.m. <br /> Village lIall <br /> Call to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Woodburn called <br /> the mee ting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Present - Mayor Robert Woodburn, Councilmen Dale lIicks, <br /> Diane McAllister, Michael Christianaen, and <br /> . Thomas Mulcahy. <br /> Absent - None <br /> Also Present - treasurer Donald Lamb, Clerk Administrator <br /> Charlotte McNiesh, Deputy Clerk Dorothy Zehm. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Mulcahy moved, seconded by McAllister, that the Minutes of the <br /> December 12th Council Meeting be approved as amended. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. (5 -0) <br /> Busineaa from the Floor <br /> Monika Tuggle asked Council's consideration of her app 11 cation <br /> for Council appointment. <br /> Woodburn scknowledged receipt of her application: advise d that <br /> Council is accep ting applications until January 13th; anticipates <br /> making the appointment at a later January meeting. <br /> Royal lIills Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-81-5 <br /> Council was referred to Christoffersen's letter of 12/15/83, <br /> recommending Council's acceptance of the project and approval of <br /> the contrector's applications for final payment. <br /> McAllister moved, seconded by lIicks, that Council approve the <br /> final payment: in the amount of $3,332.88, and accept Royal lIills <br /> Impr. No. SS-W-P-St-81-5. Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> Landscape Inspection Reports: <br /> W.w. Grainller <br /> Council was referred to Landscape Inspector Oelke's repo rt <br /> of 11/8/83 relative to his 10/9/83 inspection. McNiesh <br /> advised that the Performance Bond is in the amount of $13,690. <br /> After review of the app rove d landscape plan and the inspection <br /> report, which identified several missing plants, Hicks moved, <br /> seconded by Christiansen, that Council defer action until <br /> after the snow melts in the spring. Mo tion carried unanimOusly. <br /> . (5-0) <br /> McDonalds <br /> Council reviewed the landscape inspection report of 10/10/83, <br /> recommending acceptance and approval of the landscaping after <br /> the planting of one missing Juniper. <br /> In discussion, it was noted that the landscaping was a It re-do" t <br /> as the result of the drive-thru addition, and is guaranteed <br /> by the landscape r for one year. <br /> McAllister moved, seconded by Mulcahy, that Council approve <br /> the McDonalds landscaping, and encourage the planting of the <br /> missing Juniper as pe r plan.
