Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> McAllister moved, seconded by Cbriatiansen, tbat tbe Minutes of <br /> tbe Special Council Meeting of December 1st be approved as <br /> aubmitted. Motion carried unanimously. (4- 0) <br /> Buainess from tbe Floor <br /> Mayor Woodburn reported tbat be and Councilman Mulcaby met witb <br /> repreaentativea of Woodbridge Properties, Inc. (Dave Weir, Linda <br /> Fiahe r, Eric Neasett) tbis evening relative to park dedication <br /> for the 3-pbaae Woodb ri dge P rope rtiea , Inc. office comp le x on <br /> County Road E and Pinetree Drive. Woodburn aaid he proposes to <br /> add tbis item to the agenda tonigbt, after tbe Planner's report, <br /> if there is no objection from Council. <br /> McAllister asked if a motion is needed. Woodburn said he doesn I t <br /> believe he needs a motion, but would like to know if thia pro- <br /> cedure is all rigbt with Council. <br /> McAllister aaid abe would like to hear tbe diacuaaion, but doea <br /> not want to be forced into taking action; noted we are mt'aaing <br /> a Council aember; batea to go abead witbout a full Council since <br /> tbia has been ao "touchy". <br /> Woodburn auggested to Council that, if it appe ara the vote is <br /> con trove rsial, or aplit evenly, Council hold it over. Woodburn <br /> said Council haa been asked by Woodbridge Properties to <br /> conaider tbe proposal tonight, and of course, to paaa it. If <br /> it becomea evident tbat we can't pasa it, tben we can table it <br /> until we are a full Council. Woodburn aaked if tbis aeema a <br /> reaaonable plan. The Council members individually acknowledged <br /> tbat it doea. <br /> Wei r said if tbe other aide ia agreeable, he is aure hia side ia. <br /> I' REPORT OF PLANNER ORLYN MILLER <br /> Caae No. 83-29. Preliminary Plat of Royal Hills North, Arden <br /> View Drive and Snelling Avenue <br /> Council was referred to Planning memo (11/30/83) , to Planning <br /> Commisaion Minutes of (12/7/83) and to a transparency of the <br /> proposed 27 lot plat, also indicating the existing topography <br /> of the area. Miller noted that the plat propoaes the extenaion <br /> of Arden View Drive from the existing temporary cul-de-sac <br /> (west edge of Townhouaes property) to tbe west, one-half of <br /> whicb is propoaed on tbia plat; the other one-balf of the street <br /> to be on the property to the north (owned by George Reiling). <br /> Miller reported tbat the developer (Eibena teine r) baa met with <br /> Reiling, relative to bia joining in the plat, but Reiling haa <br /> atated that be haa no intereat in developing his property at <br /> this time, nor doea he wiah to aell any portioD of it. <br />
