Motion carried <br />unanimously. {4-0) <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />(None) <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE McNIESH <br /> <br />Resolution No. 83-39, Vacating Drainage and Utility Easements <br />between Lots 4 and 5, Block 4, Briarknoll 2nd Addition <br /> <br />Deferred at request of applicant. <br /> <br />Release of Landscape Maintenance Bond - Evenson Office Building <br /> <br />McNiesh reported that Park Director Buckley was requested to inspect <br />the replacement planting material required at the Evenson Office <br />Building, prior to release of their Landscape Maintenance Bond; <br />reported that Buckley's report indicates the replacement plantings <br />are established and healthy looking. <br /> <br />Christiansen moved, seconded by Mulcahy, that Council authorize <br />release of the Landscape Maintenance Bond for the Evenson Office <br />BUilding, Motion carried unanimously. (4-0)' <br /> <br />Allied Painting Claim <br /> <br />Council authorized the.thir~ payment to Allied Pain~ing <br />ting in the amount of $84&.55 (principal and interest). <br />noted that the remaining balance is $1,500. <br /> <br />and Renova- <br />McNiesh <br /> <br />Payroll <br /> <br />Christiansen moved, seconded by Mulcahy, that Council approve the <br />Payroll, plus additional checka. (4-0) <br /> <br />Door to Door Canvass - Citizena for a Better Environment <br /> <br />McNiesh referred Council to letter (7-21-83) received; reported <br />she also has a list of the canvassers and copy of literature to . <br />be used iu the canvass in Arden Hills. McNiesh noted ~hat no Coun- <br />cil action is necessary. <br /> <br />Chamber of Commerce <br /> <br />McNiesh reported ahe received a phone call from Jim Block, Chamber <br />of Commerce of the Suburban Area; reported that he would like to <br />talk to Council relative to the City's membership, which is $200/year, <br />at present. It was the general con census of Council that it supports <br />the Chamber in what it does, but Council is not interested in becoming <br />a contributing member. <br /> <br />-6- <br />
