Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />Authorization to Prepare Asseasmant Rolla for Royal Hills, Arden <br />Oaks and Hazelnut Addition <br /> <br />Christoffersen suggested that the Red Fox Road sewer extenaion <br />asseasment roll also be authorized; noted that he expects Royal <br />Hills to.'be paved by the end of next week and Arden Oaks in two <br />to three waeks; noted that contractor will complete the Red Fox <br />Road sewer improvement in . week. <br /> <br />McNiesh suggested that the sssess.ent hearings be scheduled <br />for August 29th, allowing for 30 day prepay~ents and certification <br />of aasessments to the County by October 10th for inclusion on <br />the 1984 tax roll. <br /> <br />Christoffersen noted that the developer, Barry O'Meara (Hazelnut <br />Park Addition), has authoriz~d extending tha pipe from Ph~BW I, <br />parallel with Cleveland Avenue, south to the flat part of the <br />site; noted that extension will be a cost saver for the developer <br />.edwill not hamper any future develop.ent of the site south of <br />Phasa 1. , ~~ <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Christiansen, that ~ authoriz~ <br />preparation of assesament rolls for Royal Hills, Arden Oaka. (5-0) <br /> <br />Shoreview Letter re Water Interconnections between Shoreview and <br />Arden Hills <br /> <br />Christoffersen reported that Roseville has water interconnections <br />with Arden Hills, Shoreview, Falcon Heights and New Brighton; <br />suggestion is a aimilsr connection between Shoreview and Arden <br />Hills; noted that Shoreview and New Brighton have municipal wella - <br />interconnect is only permitted in cases of emergency. Christoff- <br />ersen said the most economical and logical connection would be <br />on Lexington Avenue, south of 694. <br /> <br />Council . briefly diacussed the appropriateness of a connection <br />at Lexington, improvement of which is pending completion. After <br />discussion, matter was referred to Christoffersen to prepare a <br />report relative to the advantages ..'add disadvantages of a water <br />interconnection with Shoreview. It was suggested that Shoreviewl <br />Arden Hills engineers discuss the matter. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE PLANNER ORLYN MILLER <br /> <br />Case No. 83-16. Sideyard Setback Variance on Corner Lot - <br />4544 Pleasant Drive <br /> <br />Miller referred Council to a'transparency of the subject lot at <br />the intersection of Pleaaant Drive and Karth Lake Drive in Karth <br />Lake Eatatea; noted that the lot haa frontage on 2~ aidea, requir- <br />ing a 40' setback; reported that the lot waa created prior to the <br />40' aide aetback require.ent on a corner lot (20' required at <br />ti.e plat waa approved). <br /> <br />-2- <br />
