<br />~inutes of Regular Council Meeting <br />June 13, 1983 <br />Page Nine <br /> <br />Arden Hills Standard - '_Grocery Licen8e <br /> <br />McNiesh referred Council to license application for sale of grocery <br />items at Arden Hills Standard, from May 1 thru December 31, 1983. <br />for approval. <br /> <br />Christiansen moved, seconded by McAllister, that Council approve <br />issuance of the license. Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />Resignation of Donna~rtaas <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />McNiesh reported that Donna Hjortaas, recently granted a leave of <br />absence by Council, has accepted full-time employment in the City <br />of Shoreview Parks Departme~t. McNiesh said a replacement will, <br />consequently, be made in early fall. <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by McAllister, that Council accept the resig- <br />nation of Donna Hjortaas. Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />Committee Volunteers <br /> <br />McNiesh reported that Ron Parson, 1191 Carlton Drive, has volunteered <br />his services On the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Hicks reported that he has received names of potential Planning <br />Commission volunteers from former Planning Commission member , Gary <br />Thorn, which he intends to contact as well. <br /> <br />Village Hall Carpeting <br /> <br />McNiesh asked Council's direction on whether to proceed with the <br />proposed carpeting of the office portion of the Village Hall. <br /> <br />Christiansen moved, seconded by McAllister, that <br />the carpet installation as per low bid received. <br />unanimously.
