It was explained that It Is City polley to <br />request developer to enter Into a development agreement with the <br />City to assure payment of taxes and assessments In a timely <br />fas h I on. <br /> <br />After discussion, Hicks moved, seconded by McAllister, that Council <br />adopt Resolution No. 83-12, DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND <br />ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-ST-83-3, <br />HAZELNUT PARK PHASE I, contingent upon O'Meara's agreeing to enter <br />Into a development agreement. Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />(A sample development agreement to be given to O'Meara for his <br />review. ) <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE TREASURER DONALD LAMB <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Approval of Park and Recreation Sprln~ Pro~ram <br />After review of Parks Committee recommendations, MeAl I Ister moved, <br />seconded by Mulcahy, that Council approve the Park and Recreation <br />Spring Program. Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Pa rks: <br />Ball Diamonds <br />It was reported that the Parks Committee proposes to pursue more <br />bal I diamonds; are anxious for reply from Vento relative to <br />availability of arsenal property. <br /> <br />Cummln~s Park <br />Time table for development was suggested by Planner at the last <br />Parks Committee meeting - grading In summer and seeding In fal I <br />of '83 I f park I s to be usab Ie In 1984. I t was reported that a <br />sub-committee has been appointed to look Into the concerns <br />relative to activities that should be provided In Cummings Park. <br /> <br />DNR Proposed Resolution <br />No action was taken. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RCLLG Meetln~ on February 23rd <br />Christiansen reported that he cannot attend. <br /> <br />Cable TV Meetin~ <br />McAllister said she cannot attend unti I 8:30-9:00 p.m. Hicks <br />offered to attend. <br /> <br />Plannln~ Commission Meetln~ on March 2nd <br />Mulcahy will attend for Hicks. <br /> <br />RCWD Meetln~ - February 17th <br />Woodburn reported that RCWD will meet with the Mayors of New Brighton, <br />Shorevlew and Arden Hills on Thursday at 7:30 relative to expedit- <br />Ing Super Fund money for contaminated water problem. <br /> <br />Mayors' Meetln~ - February 17th <br />Woodburn said that towing policies and contracting will be dis- <br />cussed with Ramsey County Sheriff; proposes to also discuss towing <br />and tagging after snowstorms. <br /> <br />-5- <br />
