Attachment A <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />Between <br />THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />And <br />INTERNATIONAL UNION OF <br />OPERATING ENGINEERS, LOCAL No. 49 <br />The Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") is entered into between the City of Arden Hills <br />("City") and International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local 49 (hereafter <br />"Union"). <br />WHEREAS, the Parties are signatories to a Labor Agreement effective January 1, 2025 to <br />December 31, 2027 as amended February 10, 2025 (the "CBA"); <br />WHEREAS, the Parties wish to amend the probationary period within the CBA; <br />NOW THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree to amend the CBA effective August 1, 2025 <br />until December 31, 2027 as follows: <br />1. The parties agree to modify Article 16.1 to the following: <br />All newly hired or rehired employees will serve a minimum of twelve (12) months <br />probationary period. The Employee's base pay rate may change at the sole discretion of <br />the EMPLOYER as identified in the CBA wage table regardless of the Employee's <br />probationary status. <br />.-LTIMe <br />1 <br />to.. <br />6 months to step 2 <br />2 <br />6 months to step 3 <br />3 <br />12 months to step 4 <br />4 <br />12 months to step 5 <br />5 <br />12 months to step 6 <br />6 <br />N/A <br />2.
