Attachment A <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />Between <br />THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />And <br />INTERNATIONAL UNION OF <br />OPERATING ENGINEERS, LOCAL No. 49 <br />The Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") is entered into between the City of Arden Hills <br />("City") and International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local 49 (hereafter <br />"Union"). <br />WHEREAS, the Parties are signatories to a Labor Agreement effective January 1, 2025 to <br />December 31, 2027 as amended February 10, 2025 (the "CBA"); <br />WHEREAS, the Parties wish to amend the probationary period within the CBA; <br />NOW THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree to amend the CBA effective August 1, 2025 <br />until December 31, 2027 as follows: <br />1. The parties agree to modify Article 16.1 to the following: <br />All newly hired or rehired employees will serve a minimum of twelve (12) months <br />probationary period. The parties agree to modify Article 21.2 to the following: <br />Personal Time Off may not be used by an employee within the first six months of the <br />Employee's probationary period. <br />3. All other terms and conditions of the CBA not modified by this Memorandum shall <br />remain in full force and effect. <br />1 <br />
