CONSENT ITEM - 8E <br />r <br />-ARPEN HILLS <br />MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: July 28, 2025 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />Jessica Jagoe, City Administrator <br />FROM: Jess Skalicky, Parks and Recreation Manager <br />SUBJECT: Accepting Donation from the Spring Lake Park Lions Club <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />N/A $10,000.00 N/A <br />Council Should Consider <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />Resolution 2025-048 Accepting a Donation from the Spring Lake Park Lions Club in the <br />amount of $10,000.00. <br />Background/Discussion <br />Since 1986, the SLP Lions Club has been one of Minnesota's Largest Charitable Gambling <br />Organizations, and they run a pull -tab booth in the City. The Spring Lake Park Lions Club has <br />donated $10,000.00 to the City of Arden Hills for Parks and Recreation.
