Motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> Donation - Minnesota Bap~ist Conference <br /> Msyor Woodburn acknowled~ed rece ip t of a $275.00 donation from <br /> Minnesota Baptist Conference, on behalf of the Ci ty, and express- <br /> ed Council's gra ti tude. <br /> Resignation - Human Rights. Commis,!ion <br /> Mulcahy moved to ac ce p t Kay Houghland's resignation from the <br /> Human Rights CommisSion. Motion was seconded by McAlliater and <br /> carried unanimously (5 -0) . <br /> Council concurred that replacements be actively sou gh t for the <br /> two Human Ri gh ts Commission vacancies, both terms of which ex- <br /> pire 12/31/83. <br /> Union Negotiations - SJ:atus Report <br /> Woodburn reported that he will meet again with the Vnien Steward <br /> and area Business Representative, LV.O.E. Local 49, on Tuesday; <br /> will re p 0 r t status of negotiations at the October 25th Council <br /> meeting. <br /> Approval of Fall Park Program Perso~ <br /> Mulcahy moved, seconded by Hicks, that Council approve the hiring <br /> of the 1982 Fall Program Personnel as detailed in Buckley's memo <br /> of 10-14-82. <br /> I twas Council's un de rs t andin g that any additional appointments <br /> will be submitted for app roval and will be at the salaries es tab- <br /> lished by Buckley's memo of 10-16-82. <br /> REPORT OF VILLAGE CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOT~ MC NIESH <br /> Resolution No. 82-53, Designating Polling Places for General <br /> Election <br /> Hicks moved, seconded by Johnson, that Council adopt Resolution <br /> . No. 82-53 DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES .FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION, <br /> NOVEMBER 2, 1982. Motion carried unanimously (5-0) <br /> Approval of Election Judges for General Election <br /> Johnson moved, seconded by Mulcahy that Council approve the <br /> Judges for the General Election as listed. Motion carried unan- <br /> imously (5 -0) . <br /> Claims and Payroll <br /> Johnson moved, seconded by Hicks, that Council approve the Claims <br /> and Payroll as presented.
