<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Council Meeting <br />Page Three <br /> <br />14 June 1982 <br /> <br />Capital Improvements Program <br />Council was referred to Review Draft, May 25, 1982, of Capital <br />Improvements Program - Arden Hills, Minnesota, which Miller des- <br />cribed as a projection of the expenditures anticipated during <br />the period 1982 to 1986. <br /> <br />McNiesh referred Council to changes recommended by the Finance <br />Committee, in its review of the CIP draft, and Council concurred <br />that the following changes be .ade: <br /> <br />Cover page - delete "credits" paragraph <br />Page 9 - second paragraph - change "two" areas <br />to "three" areas of planned park <br />acquisition remain.... <br /> <br />Page 10- provide reference in text re the following: <br />- Lexington Avenue curb and gutter <br />- semaphores at County Road F and Lexington <br />Avenue <br />- semaphores at County Rpad E and STH 51 <br />- sewer, street, water and storm drainage - <br />Arden 'Oaks and Royal Hills Subdivisions <br /> <br />Page 11- Park Acquisition - add: <br />Round Lake (5-8 acres) <br /> <br />Page 12- Delete Table 7 (and re-number following <br />tab les <br /> <br />Exhibit C - Correct delineation of proposed park <br />south of Round Lake <br /> <br />Resolution No. 82-34 <br />Adoption of Comprehensive Plan <br />Council was referred to Review Copy of pages of the Comprehensive <br />Plan which were revised in sccordance with review comments from <br />the Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />In discussion, page 55 was amended by adding Floral Drive (incomplete) <br />to list of Collectors and to change graphic (page 66) accordingly. <br /> <br />Page 98 was amended by deleting first sentence of Capital Improve- <br />ments paragraph. <br /> <br />McAllister moved, seconded by Hicks, that Council adopt Resolutiop <br />No. 82-34, RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM FOR THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS. Motion carried <br />unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />Siren Location and Advertisement for Bids <br />Miller reported that the siren location has <br />on the N.S.P. site to the end of the fence; <br />a foot or two, but will still be effective. <br />that an easement is being prepared. <br /> <br />been moved northward <br />noted this lowers it <br />Miller reported <br /> <br />Johnson moved, seconded by Hicks, that Council authorize advertise- <br />ment for bids for the siren. Access <br />Road from Fairview to Lake Johanna Blvd. - Tom Havlish <br />Tom Havlish and Gary Knowles (Noble Road) were present. Havlish <br />explained that they have cut the weeds on the unused 16'+ wide <br />lake area of the tax-forfeited "public purpose" roadway property <br />which extends from F.irview to the lake; said that he and Knowles <br /> <br />-3- <br />
