<br />. . <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. , <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Council Meeting <br />Village of Arden Hills <br />Monday, March 29, 1982 - 7:30 p.m. <br />Village Hall <br /> <br />Call to Order <br />Pursuant to due call and Dotice thereof, Msyor Woodburn cslled the <br />meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Present - Mayor Robert Woodburn, Councilmen Janet Hollenhorst, <br />Dale Hicks, Diane McAllister, Maurice Johnson <br /> <br />Abs.at - None <br /> <br />Also Present - Village Attorney James Lynden, Treasurer Donald <br />Lamb, Clerk Administrator Charlotte McNiesh, Deputy <br />Clerk Dorothy ~ehm <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Hicka moved, seconded by Johnson, that the Minutes of the Msrch <br />8th Council meeting be approved as submitted. Motion carried <br />unanimously (5-0) <br /> <br />Business from the Floor <br />None <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ATTORNEY JAMES LYNDEN <br /> <br />Case No. 81-23, Arden Oaks Development Agreement <br />Council was referred to Lynden's letter of 3-4-82 and attached <br />draft of Development Agreement for Arden Oaks Addition, and to <br />latter from developer Kurt Laughinghouse relative to proposed <br />chaaaes thereto. <br /> <br />Council discussed the suggested changes with Lynden; deferred <br />action pending review of amended draft with developer at the next <br />Council meeting. <br /> <br />Request of Pilarim House for Exemption from Requirements of Section <br />28-90 (a) of Arden Hills Code <br />Council was referred to Lynden's letter of March 26, 1982 relative <br />to Section 28-90 of the city code, which requires buildings used <br />for human "habitation" to connect to the municipal sanitary sewer <br />syatem. <br /> <br />After discussion, Council concurred with Attorney Lynden's opinion <br />that Pilgrim House is not a building used for human "habitations", <br />as defined by Webster. McNiesh was requested to advise Pilgrim <br />Houae that it will not, therefore, be required to connect to munic- <br />ipal aanitary sewer. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 223, Amending City Code Chapter 21 re Changeable <br />Copy Signs <br />Johnson moved, seconded by McAllister, that Council introduce by <br />title Ordinance No. 223, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 21-4 (B) <br />(22) (c) AND 21-7 (f) (2) AND ADDING A NEW SUBSECtION (g) TO <br />SECTION 21-7 OF THE ARDEN HILLS CODE RELATING TO CHANGEABLE COpy <br />SIGNS. Motion carried unanimously (5-0) <br /> <br />Screening of Exterior Storage - Michael Jay <br />Council was referred to letter from Prosecuting Attorney Filla <br />(3-18-22) re State of Minnesota (City of Arden Hills) vs. Michael <br />Jay. <br />
