No. ST81-2, Lexington/694 <br />Storm Ora I nage <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Hollenhorst, that Council approve Change <br />Order No. I, Arden HII I. Project No. ST81-2, Lexington Avenue & <br />1-694 Storm Drainage Improvement. Motion carried unenlmously. <br />15-0) . <br /> <br />Replacement of 1975 Chevrolet Wagon <br />Councl I was referred to memo from CSO Robert Perry re Replace- <br />ment of CSO Vehicle - '75 Chevrolet Wagon, recommending purchase <br />of a 1981 Pontiac Phoenix hatchback from National Car Rental, and <br />subsequent sale of the 1975 Chev wagon for an estimated $1,000.00. <br /> <br />In discussion, options were considered, vs the ptoposed used rental <br />cars quoted: <br /> <br />a) Used Ramsey County Sheriff car <br />b) New car <br /> <br />McAllister moved, seconded by Hicks, that Council authorize the <br />purchase of the 1981 Pontiac Phoenix from National 8 $5,990.00 <br />as per memo. Motion carried (McAllister, Hicks, Hollenhorst, <br />Woodburn voting In favor of the motion; Johnson voting In opposi- <br />tion ). (4-1) <br /> <br />(It was Council's understanding that the '75 Chevrolet wagon will <br />be offered for sale at $1,000.) <br /> <br />1982 Shade Tree Disease Control - Advertisement for Bids <br />Councl I was referred to Buckley's ~emo of 3/3/82 re 1982 Shade <br />Tree Ptogram, and attached Bid Proposal form. <br /> <br />After discussion, Hollenhorst moved, seconded by Hicks, that <br />Council authorize advertisement for bids for 1982 Tree and Stump <br />Removal In Arden Hills, as outlined In memo; bid opening to be <br />Tuesday, April 6, 1982 at 2:00 p.m. at the Village Hall. Motion <br />carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />Approval to Attend Tree Inspector Wotkshop <br />Hollenhorst moved, seconded by Johnson, that Council authorize <br />Dave Winkel's attendance at the Tree Inspector Workshop at a cost <br />of $15.00, on March 23rd. Motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 82-17, Providing for Public Sale of General Obli- <br />gation Te~porary Improvement Bonds of 1982 <br />Council was referred to letter from Bond Counsel Peter Popovich <br />(3/4/82) re Proposed 1982 Bond Sale and attached proposed Resolu- <br />t I on No. 82 -I 7 . <br /> <br />McNlesh reported the following date schedule suggested by Popovich: <br />- bid opening at 4 p.m., April 26th at office of <br />Peterson, Popovich, Knutson and Flynn <br />- Council consideration of bids and award of sale at <br />7:30 p.m., April 26th at the Village Hall. <br /> <br />McNlesh noted that City would receive the money within 30 days <br />(May 26th). <br /> <br />-5- <br />
