Does anybody know what that is? .By law, I understand that it used to be that they had to dedicate 10% of the new development to the park in land or in money. I was wondering what that's going to be. MAYOR WOODBURN: It's usually been 10% - a slight variable figure - for parks or drainage improvements. MRS. SUE HUSTINGS: I understand that, but. that hasn't been decided yet, is that right? MAYOR WOODBURN: That's correct. That is still under nego- tiation. . MRS. SUE HUSTINGS: Another thing, I was wondering - why do they want to drain that low area in the park? That is a beautiful little pond that has beautiful oak trees around it, that would be a beautiful wild garden if the road didn't have to go through. I was wondering if they put that down there just so that we the taxpayers would feel that we're getting some- thing for our money. Is it necessary? 4
