<br />I <br />I. <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I' <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I- <br />I <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING <br />JANUARY 2, 1996 <br />5:00 P.M. - PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING LUNCHROOM <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Dennis Probst called to order the Special <br />City Council Meeting at 5:00 P,M, <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Dennis Probst; Councilmembers Beverly Aplikowski; Dale Hicks <br />and Paul Malone, Councilmember Susan Keirn arrived at approximately <br />5:05 P,M, <br /> <br />Also present were: City Administrator, Brian Fritsinger; and City Accountant/City <br />Treasurer, Terrance Post. <br /> <br />ADOPT AGENDA <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Hicks moved and Aplikowski seconded a motion to adopt the agenda for the <br />January 2, 1996, City Council Meeting as presented, The motion carried <br />unanimously (4-0), <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE <br /> <br />Mayor Probst administered the Oath of Office to Council appointees Brian <br />Fritsinger as City Clerk! Administrator and Terrance Post as City Treasurer. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />A. Adopt Resolution #96-01, Designating Depositories and Corporation <br />Authorization. <br /> <br />B. Adopt Resolution #96-02, Designating Additional Money Market <br />Depositories for Investment Purposes. <br /> <br />C. Adopt Resolution #96-03, Designating Brokerage Firms for Investment in <br />Financial Instruments Authorized by State Statute Consistent with the City <br />Investment Policy. <br /> <br />D. Adopt Resolution #96-04, Transfer of Funds by Telephonic Instructions. <br /> <br />E. Designation of the Focus News as the 1996 official City newspaper. <br />
