The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Mayor Probst requested that Item A, Committee Appointment, be removed from the Consent <br />Calendar as three applications have been received for two position openings, and he would like <br />more time to review them. <br /> <br />A. 1996 Operating Transfer <br /> <br />B. 1995 Fund Closings/Operating Transfer <br /> <br />C. Claims and Payroll <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Malone moved and Hicks seconded a motion to approve the Consent Calendar as <br />amended, and authorize execution of all necessary documents contained therein. <br />The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Probst invited the audience to address the Council on any issue not already on the agenda. <br /> <br />There were no public comments at this time. <br /> <br />UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Resolution #96-25. Receiving the Feasibility Report and Ordering a Public Hearing <br />on the Improvement in the Matter of the Old Highwav 10 Watermain Improvement <br />of 1996 <br /> <br />Greg Stonehouse, City Engineer, stated an information meeting was held earlier this evening to <br />overview the watermain installation project of Old Highway 10. He stated the residents were <br />concerned about the possible bike trail location along Old Highway 10, deferring assessments <br />until connection, and any interest accruing during the deferral. Mr. Stonehouse stated he would <br />share the trail location comments with the Parks and Recreation Department. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst clarified that the proposal adds six new fire hydrants, spaced about 500 feet apart, <br />from Wedgewood Circle to Lakeshore Place. <br />
