Public Works Director / City Engineer <br />John Mazzitello, P.E., PMP, MBA Ramsey County Deputy Director of Public <br />Works <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Ramsey County Project Coordination Discussion <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> N/A N/A N/A <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br /> <br />Council should consider the informational presentation related to upcoming projects that will <br />require City and County coordination provided by John Mazzitello, Ramsey County Deputy <br />Director of Public Works. <br /> <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br /> <br />• Old Highway 10 – Proposed 2026 construction <br />o Potential cost-share policy changes, discussions ongoing with City Engineers of <br />Ramsey County and Ramsey County staff. <br /> Simplifying the cost participation and cooperative agreement process. <br /> Providing relief to cities, by reducing the overall cost participation <br />amounts contributed over time. <br /> If discussions settle in 2026 and the Ramsey County Board approves the <br />policy changes, they would apply to Ramsey County’s 2027-2031 TIP. <br />o Project is being shown in the draft 2026-2030 TIP as a 2026 construction, but can <br />be moved back to 2027 if the City desires. <br />o City staff confirmed that the grants awarded could be used for 2027 construction. <br /> <br /> <br />
