��•��y• � CITY OF ARDEN HILLS Pow 4364 WEST ROUND LAKE ROAD • ARDEN HILLS, MN 55112-5794 May 19, 2000 RE: Collection Days To Arden Hills Residential Refuse Haulers: The Arden Hills Operations and Finance Committee invited all licensed Refuse Haulers to attend their May 18, 2000, meeting held at the Arden Hills City Hall. Representatives of Ace Solid Waste, Waste Management of Blaine and Walter's Recycling &Refuse attended. The committee and refuse haulers discussed methods to implement a standardized single or two day residential pickup within Arden Hills, to eliminate garbage and haulers on city streets nearly every day of the week. The haulers attending were willing to work with the City to achieve that goal, and provided recommendations to help the process. The City asks residential haulers to review the enclosed map of the City and indicate their company name, number of stops made,number of trucks used, and the days of the week they are currently picking up in each area of the City. The City will use this information to implement a standard single or two-day pickup, which will cause the least amount of changes and disruption for the haulers and the residents. The City asks that each residential hauler return their map as soon as possible, as it will be to each haulers benefit to provide input. The information will then be evaluated at the June 15, 2000, Operations and Finance Committee Meeting, which you are welcome to attend. That meeting will be held at the Arden Hills City Hall, 4364 West Round Lake Road at 7:00 P.M.
