Dwayne Stafford—Public Works <br /> 1) Ingerson Street committee. <br /> a) The committee is making some progress. They decided they might like <br /> "rain gardent(a.k.a. ditches), <br /> b) Because the Ingerson Street project will not take place this summer, the <br /> city is doubling up on seal coating projects. The city is using a type of <br /> gravel(similar to the kind nari''a ririlnixayanol used in the city of <br /> New Brighton). This type of gravel is supposed to work better than the <br /> type that is currently in use. <br /> 2) The public works department is also working on other projects <br /> 3) Spray painting on water tower. Approximately 200-300 cars were damaged <br /> due to paint from the spray painting. This was because of a private company <br /> and not the city. <br /> 4) Communications tower <br /> b. Terry Post <br /> 1) C3OG Grants. The city is using the money to finish improvements to the city <br /> a) Arden Manor park—$40,000 <br /> b) Hwy. 10 water main.—$2110,000 <br /> 2) 2001 Budget. Staff planning. Looking at capital improvements, department <br /> • evaluations and city philosophy, <br /> c. Lois Rem <br /> 1) Highway 10/96 designs <br /> 2) Annual audit. The city received a clean opinion. <br /> 3) WWW site task force. The task force recently met. Members have looked at <br /> several city web sites and will be working to establish a city WWW site. They <br /> hope to be completed by the end of the summer. <br /> 6. Announcement from Chairman Kelliher <br /> a. Pleased with the progress of the committee <br /> b. Business for next meeting. (1) Street lights and speed limits (2) Other committee <br /> agenda items. <br /> 7. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. Minutes were approved. <br /> 8. Adjourn at 9:29 p.m. <br /> • <br />
