Onlythe followingtypes of trees shall be permitted under the <br />provisions of this Section: Hackberry; Norway, Sugar or Red Maple; Linden; and other <br />species as approved by the City. Under no circumstances shall cottonwood trees, non - <br />disease resistant elm trees, or any species of ash tree be planted in the City. <br />New version (proposed Ordinance 2025-004): <br />Permitted Varieties. Only tree species listed on the "Arden Hills Preferred Street Tree <br />Species List" shall be permitted under the provisions of this Section. Under no <br />circumstances shall any tree species listed as "Prohibited" on that list be planted in the <br />City. The "Arden Hills Preferred Street Tree Species List" is a living document maintained <br />and updated by the acting City Forester and the most current official version shall apply. <br />Updated 10113125 <br />
