<br /> ~ <br /> Minutes of Regular Council Meeting <br /> Village of Arden Hills <br /> Monday, October 27, 1986 <br /> Village Hall <br /> Call to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Woodburn called the meeting to <br /> order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Present: Mayor Robert Woodburn, Councilmembers Dale Hicks, Gary <br /> Peck and Thomas Sather. Councilmember Hansen arrived at <br /> . 8:20 p.m. <br /> Also Present: Engineers Donald Christoffersen and Barry Peters, <br /> Public Works Supervisor Robert Raddatz, Clerk <br /> Administrator Charlotte McNiesh and Deputy Clerk <br /> Catherine Iago. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Mayor Woodburn asked if there were any corrections to the minutes of October <br /> 13. Councilmember Sather stated on page 7, paragraph 4, 1987 Union Contract, <br /> he thought it was the Mayor's suggestion to ask for a proposal from the union <br /> rather than his. <br /> McNiesh stated she did not have her notes from that meeting, and offered to <br /> review her notes and the tapes. <br /> Sather moved, seconded by Peck, that the minutes of the Regular Council meeting <br /> of October 13, be approved as amended on page 7, paragraph 4, to reflect Mayor <br /> Woodburn suggesting asking for a proposal from the union steward. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> Correction to Council Minutes - Au~ust 11, 1986 <br /> Clerk Administrator advised the Council a motion was mistakenly deleted from <br /> page 6 in the August 11th Council Minutes under Water Tower Financing; she read <br /> the motion as per her notes. <br /> Hicks moved, seconded by Peck, that Council approve the correction to the <br /> August 11 regular Council Minutes as follows: <br /> "Hicks moved, seconded by Peck, that Council approve the water <br /> tower financing as outlined." <br /> Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> Business from Floor <br /> Allen Kastanek, 1445 Glenhill Road, asked the Councilmembers if Arden Hills had <br /> any plans for repair on Glenhill Road and if not would residents bear any costs <br /> for repair of the road by the City of Roseville. <br /> Mayor referred question to Public Works Supervisor. <br /> Raddatz advised there are no plans for repairs on the Arden Hills portion of <br /> the road that he is aware of at this time. <br /> Engineer Christoffersen advised when Roseville has completed their preliminary <br /> .- feasibility/cost reports they will contact Arden Hills to see if we are <br /> interested in participating in the repairs. Engineer further advised no <br /> specific date was given for completion of the reports, possibly January. <br /> REPORT OF VILLAGE ENGINEER DONALD CHRISTOFFERSEN <br /> Resolution No. 86-58, Approvin~ Construction Plans and Special Provisions for <br /> LexinKton Avenue Brid~e, Semaphores and Li~htin~ <br /> Council was referred to memo from Glen Van Wormer, dated 10-24-86, which <br /> recommended approval of the resolution from MNDOT, and suggested the Council <br /> may request special control devices at some of the key intersections along <br /> -~ ----~ ---- <br />
