<br />-' <br /> Minutes of Regular Council Meeting <br /> Village of Arden Hills <br /> Monday, October 13, 1986 <br /> Village Hall <br /> Call to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Woodburn called the meeting to <br /> order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Present: Mayor Robert Woodburn, Councilmembers Dale Hicks, Nancy <br /> Hansen, Thomas Sather. <br /> Absent: Counci1member Gary Peck. <br />. Also Present: Attorney James Lynden, Engineers Donald Christoffersen and <br /> Barry Peters, Planner Orlyn Miller, Treasurer Donald Lamb, <br /> Public Works Supervisor Robert Raddatz, Clerk Administrator <br /> Charlotte McNiesh and Deputy Clerk Catherine Iago. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Hansen moved, seconded by Hi~s, that the minutes of the Regular Council <br /> meeting of September 22, and'Special Council Meetings of September 27 and <br /> October 4, 1986 be approved as submitted. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> Business from the Floor <br /> None. <br /> REPORT OF VILLAGE ATTORNEY JAMES LYNDEN <br /> Case No. 86-16, Special Use Permit, Electronic ReceivinR Dish, J. StradinRer <br /> Council was referred to the draft of the Special Use Permit. Attorney Lynden <br /> recommended Council approval. <br /> Hansen moved, seconded by Sather, that Council approve the Special Use Permit, <br /> Case No. 86-16, for Electronic Receiving Dish, 1426 West County Road E, J. <br /> Stradinger. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> Case No. 86-27, Special Use Permit. Gas Station RemodelinR, Amoco Oil Company <br /> Council was referred to the draft of the Special Use Permit. Attorney Lynden <br /> recommended Council approval. <br /> Hicks moved, seconded by Sather, that Council approve the Special Use Permit, <br /> Case No. 86-27, Gas Station Remodeling, Amoco Oil Company, as prepared by the <br /> Attorney. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> Case No. 86-20, Second Amendment to Special Use Permit for Mounds View HiRh <br /> School. Athletic Field Li2htinR <br /> Attorney Lynden referred Council to the Second Amendment as drafted and <br /> recommended Council approval. <br /> Hansen moved, seconded by Sather, that Council approve the Second Amendment to <br /> Special Use Permit, Case No. 86-20, for Mounds View High School, Athletic <br /> Field Lighting. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> Mayor Woodburn commented on the number of vehicles parked, on both sides of the <br /> street, during football season. He suggested when reviewing the SUP next year <br /> the Council consider limiting parking to one side of Fairview Avenue as it is a <br />. residential area. The Council concurred to review the matter next spring. <br /> Development ARreement - Keithson Addition <br /> Attorney advised that Short-Elliott-Hendrickson prepared the draft agreement <br /> and he recommends Council approval with the addition of the following language <br /> before filing document; <br /> "This instrument was drafted by Short-Elliott-Hendrickson, Inc., Consulting <br /> Engineers." <br /> Mayor Woodburn questioned if a completion date for roads should be included in <br /> the agreement. <br />
