DRAFT <br /> OPERATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES OCTOBER 21, 1999 3 <br /> • STAFF UPDATE <br /> 1. Joel Lynch is the new City Administrator <br /> 2. City is working with the Metropolitan Council regarding Arden Hills' Comprehensive <br /> Plan. <br /> 3. There is a neighborhood in the City not yet hooked up to water. This neighborhood is <br /> interested in exploring the cost to hook up now. <br /> 4. The West Round Lake Road, Phase I road construction project is completed with the <br /> exception of several minor punch list items to be completed next spring. <br /> 5. Staffing will be available as needed on December 31 st to facilitate any potential Y2K <br /> issues. <br /> COUNCIL UPDATE <br /> 1. Paul Malone will be resigning from the City Council on November 30, 1999. <br /> 2. The City Council is accepting applications for the Council vacancy. Those interested <br /> should contact City Hall. <br /> 3. Discussions are ongoing regarding various Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant <br /> (TCAAP). <br /> 4. Preliminary plans are being made for next year's Town Hall meeting. <br /> 5.
