<br />Minutes of Regular Council Meeting, July 28, 1986 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />Claims and Payroll <br />Sather moved, seconded by Hansen, that Council approve the Claims and Payroll <br />as presented. Motion carried unanimously. (3-0) <br /> <br />Applications for Position of Deputy Clerk/Zoning Administrator <br />McNiesh reported receipt of about 21 resumes to date; reported that she will be <br />accepting applications through July 3D, would like person to be on board by <br />September 1. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />After discussion, McNiesh was requested to schedule 1/2 hour evening interviews <br />on Tuesday, August 5, and afternoon interviews on Saturday, August 9. Council <br />concurred that after review of all applications, about six most eligible be <br />scheduled for personal interviews. Woodburn expressed his desire to interview <br />each applicant on a one-to-one basis. It was suggested that a point system be <br />used by those taking part in the interview of applicants. Hansen said she <br />plans to assist at both interviews. <br /> <br />1987 Budget Guidelines <br />Council was referred to McNiesh's memo of 7/28/86. McNiesh changed her <br />recommended $1.00 per hour increase for park maintenance employees to 76 cents <br />per hour, based on the 24 cent increase approved tonight, effective 7/1/86. <br />There was no Council action on salary recommendations. <br /> <br />After discussion, it was the general consensus of Council that the 1987 <br />increase for NSP would be more realistic at 7% rather than at 9%. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Sather, that <br />Motion carried unanimously.
